Chocolate Chip Cookies with Caramel

Strangely enough, I made these cookies for Thanksgiving.  I did not have traditional thanksgiving food.  We ate fettuccini Alfredo and these chocolate chips cookies.

I did not want to go through all the work of preparing a traditional Thanksgiving meal, and I am glad my friends did not want to either.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Yesterday I saw the movie Crazy Asian Rich.  I did not intend to see it, but the reviews are really good.  Anyway, it was a last minute decision.

It was so funny.  I even got a little emotional at the end.  It exceeded my expectations.  I plan on seeing it again, though I will probably wait until it goes to DVD.  I think I'll also borrow the book from the library.  

Magnolia Table Chocolate Chip Cookie

I have not posted for a while.  I left for about a week to go visit family at home.  I brought my laptop with me, but did not end up turning it on for the entire time.  That is a sign of a good, fun filled week.

Unfortunately, I think that was my last vacation until Christmas.  I may end up taking a couple of weekend trips, but that is it.

Oatmeal Cookies with Dried Cranberries, Chocolate Chips, Pecans, and Toffee Bits

I have a soft spot for oatmeal cookies.  Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are my favorite, but I have a hard time saying no to a soft oatmeal cookie.

I like oatmeal raisin cookies, but I prefer oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips too.  These cookies combine the deliciousness of dried fruit and chocolate chips.

I work nine hour days, and then have every other Friday off.  Today is my designated day off.  It was very windy today, and many other people had their work cancelled.

This would not have effected me, but a museum that I had planned to attend was also closed because of the wind.  Instead of exploring my city, I have been lazy all day.  The only productive things I have done all day are exercise, grocery shopping, and buying new running shoes.

It is going to be an excited November.  I'm leaving to go to Spain this coming Thursday.  I'll be there vacationing for ten days.  

I will work for two days when I get back from Spain, and then I am going to San Francisco for a few days for a work conference.  Unfortunately,  I'm not going to get much work done in November.

Mini Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Blossoms

The pumpkin season is upon us.  The last time I went to the grocery store I bough pumpkin yogurt.  I talked myself out of buying pumpkin cheesecake ice cream.

I haven't been to Trader Joe's this Fall yet.  I remember last year I really enjoyed their pumpkin spice cereal.  I also tried a chocolate covered pumpkin caramel.  It was delicious of course.

Chocolate Nutella Cookies

It has been too long since I have posted a cookie recipe.  It has actually has been less than a month.  I posted a chocolate peanut butter cookie for one recipe in early July.  You can't have too many cookie recipes though.

I have lots of delicious cookie recipes.  This year I have made caramel-filled chocolate cookies, chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips and a miniature peanut butter cup, peanut butter and jelly chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies with coconut grass and chocolate eggs, and chocolate chip cookies stuffed with Milk Duds.

Toasted Coconut Pancakes with Chocolate Chips

Don't these pancakes look incredible!  They tasted pretty great too.

Coconut is one of my favorite things.  It has such a wonderful flavor.  I was an adult before I tasted fresh coconut, but I think even dried coconut tastes great.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies have such an interesting assortment of add-ins that you may think I came up with it myself.  It isn't the creation of another blogger either.

The cookie recipe came from Nestle's official website.  It looks like such a unique but tasty cookie, I wanted to give it a try when I saw it.

Cherry Double Chocolate Cookies

A few weeks ago, a few friends and I had afternoon tea at a quaint town near where I live.  We had several different types of week, dainty sandwiches, and little sweet treats.

We each got a scone of our choice, which was served with clotted cream.  There were several choices, but I had no difficulty in choosing a chocolate cherry scone.  It was delicious, and it made me realize I have never posted a chocolate cherry dessert on my blog.

Chubby Hubby Pancakes

I have been on the lookout for chocolate Cherry Garcia ice cream for weeks.  Last weekend, I checked the two closest grocery stores.  Today I was close to a Walmart, and stopped to see if they were carrying it.  No such luck.

I know that it has already hit some stores, because my dad found a pint in Grand Junction, Colorado.  I'm a little surprised there are stores selling it in a rural Colorado town and not in DC metropolitan area, but maybe Ben and Jerry's has a stronger fan base in the intermountain west.
