Honey Whole Wheat and Oat Sandwich Bread

I am posting another bread recipe.  I have made many delicious loafs of bread recipe.  Freshly made bread is so tasty.  I have been making whole wheat, so it's healthy too.

I have made harvest bread, whole grain pumpkin yeast bread, 100% whole wheat sandwich bread, and classic %100 whole wheat bread.  You might think the 100% whole wheat sandwich bread and the classic %100 whole wheat bread are the same thing, but they are totally different.

Stew Chicken (Belize)

A couple of years ago, I went to Belize with my parents, brother, and sister in-law.  We spend a day in Guatemala too.  It was a fun trip with great company.

We went in February.  February is a great month to go somewhere warm.  By the time February rolls around, it is still cold but I'm more than tired of winter.  I little respite to a warmer climate is a welcome change.

Tropical Trail Mix Pancakes

These pancakes have a mouthful of a name.  I chose the name because I added tropical nut and fruit trail mix to the batter.

I am a fan of pancakes.  I have made many pancake recipes and posted them on this blog.

Cocoa Brownies

I have been in a brownie making mood recently.  I made a box mix and a recipe called Bangor brownies just within the last month.  That doesn't bowed well for my healthy eating goals this year.

I made these for a craft night I had at my home.  I am going to get back into knitting.  Over a year ago, I knit a scarf.  I have actually only knit scarfs.  I think it's time I graduate to harder projects.  I think I am going to attempt a knit beret next.

Papa a la Huancaina

A few years ago, I went to Peru with my parents and a cousin.  It was a great trip.  We covered lots of ground in a short amount of time.  We walked, took a train, a bus, and a few airplanes.

We saw Machu Picchu, Cusco, Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, and Lima.  We ate delicious food as well.  I like making food from countries I have visited.  It often takes me a long time to actually making the dishes though.  I went to Switzerland last summer and have a few recipes I want to try but haven't actually make yet.

Bangor Brownies

I heard a really funny story today.  I was taking an Uber.  I took the cheaper option, and so there were other travelers in the car.  When we dropped of one of the passengers, the driver told me that the man who had just exited the car was pretty upset.

The man hadn't realized that he was taking an Uber pool instead of the single passenger option.   In short, it took this man two hours to get home from the airport.  The driver hand picked up multiple passengers and dropped them off by the time the man arrived home.  The drive would have probably taken about 45 minutes without stops.  He would have arrived home sooner if he had just taken public transportation.
