Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon Fillets

I debating posting this recipe, and not because it wasn't delicious.  It looks a little weird.  I don't think placing the food on a green plate helped.  Green isn't an appetizing color.

Salmon isn't a particularly attractive cut of meat either.  The main problem is white film formed on the salmon while it baked.  It didn't affect the flavor, but it isn't appealing.

In the end, I decided to post it.  The recipe came from Food Network.  I made it as directed

The ingredients are 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, 4 5-ounce salmon fillets, salt, and pepper.

I oiled a baking dish.  I added the honey, mustard, lemon zest, and lemon juice.  I stirred these ingredients together well.

I added salt and pepper to both sides of the salmon and then placed them into the mustard and honey sauce.  I flipped the salmon so each side was covered with the sauce.  I let salmon marinade in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

I baked the salmon for ten minutes at 400 degrees.

This was flavorful and sucullent salmon.

It was sweet, tangy, and savory.

The salmon was moist and tender.

I prefer the honey mustard chicken I posted earlier this year.  Both of these recipes are good, but I think honey and mustard goes better with chicken.
